Hictu! is a new Web application which allows users to provide and receive availability information about their contacts. Through a one-to-one, secure authorization mechanism users can invite their contacts and in just few minutes retrieve a useful set of information regarding their availability and communication means.

For each of your email contacts, Hictu! shows you the real availability status and the entire set of different communication channels to stay in touch with your contacts.

Through a light and easy to use interface, Hictu! is the tool by which you can get in touch with your co-workers, friends, customers, vendors, etc, by seeing their status in several different IM and VoIP communities (such as MSN, Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, Jabber, Skype, Abbeyphone, and many others). As a first step, you can automatically import all your pre-existing contacts from Outlook Express, MS Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird. Then you can choose which contact or group of contacts you want to insert in the Address Book: each of them will receive an e-mail describing the service and asking to grant authorization for being listed in your Address Book and show their communication availability.
