Messenger Plus! Live can be uninstalled like any other software on your computer. In Windows XP, click on "Start\Control Panel" and select "Add/Remove Programs". In the list that will be displayed, select "Messenger Plus! Live" or "Messenger Plus! Live & Sponsor", click on "Remove" and follow the instructions. Messenger Plus! will be uninstalled quickly from your system along with the sponsor if you previously installed it. Some files will be removed only after you restart your computer (note: chat logs won't be removed automatically).

it only says add hardware on my control pannel not remove :/
This doesent work :l theres no add/remove button..
on mine it said add hardware not remove !
you have to click the program thingy first
It sed that on mine aswell it says there is an error and that i cant uninstall it which is really lame.

It Doesn't work!! it doesn't even say windows live messenger on the list all whatever you said !!! I really need to uninstall it so i can install it again!
all u gotta search on it is messenger live plus and it should come up
and there has to be an add/remove button somewhere

But the messenger plus browser thing is still on my mozilla
Go to Program Files in the C drive, and there should be a folder called Messenger Plus! Live. Inside that folder is an uninstaller.

I can't seem to find that folder... hmm
The installation progress has not been part of our application development as such yet.
If you try the following steps you should be able to uninstall most of the files and folders taken up by Messenger Plus! Live.
1. Go to - C drive/ Program Files / Messenger Plus! Live.
2. Click on the uninstaller.
3. You should be able to use Windows Live Messenger as per normal after that.
