i am unable to see any of my contacts with @live instead of @hotmail or @msn? and usually when talking to these people, they are the ones who talk first, so i would think i am on their contact list

I have the same question! But this person has a @hotmail address. I added her on my msn, but as it appears she didn't add me if I check "who added me to their contact list". How come she can see I am online and start to talk to me if she doesn't have me on her contact list?

How come that a person who has not added me on her contact list still can send me messages on msn? (Her name does NOT appear belwow "which users has added me to their contact list", but she is the one talking to me first on msn)

Exact same problem here, that suck. It they wanted to remove this feature in the new msn version then they should have remove the feature completly instead of making it useless. I appear in my old contact list but any new contact im having frequent conversation with...they dont appear. That suck I used it often before to clean my msn list but now... It worthless.

This feature doesnt appear to work. People who have added me to their list, who spark up conversation with me when I come online aren't listed as having added me to their contact list. Im not sure whether this only happens if the person deletes you and then un-deletes you though; its a bit confusing anyhow!

I also have this problem :(
My friends have me on their contact lists, still when I check who's added me, that list appers 100% empty. But I know I am on their list as they showed me and and I am on their list - right then I checked it again, but that list still appeared 100% empty. I am registered with a verified gmail account.

I also have this problem, but it seems like I only have the problem with people who've deleted me and re-added me.

Yes, I too have the same problem, I wonder if its a bug? if you delete(or block), then re-add a person they will not show up in "see who's added you to their contact list"
anyone know how to submit this to Microsoft?

Yup, this problem exists. Hopefully Microsoft does something about it in next release. It is useful to have so I can clean my list from time to time.

I noticed the same problem last week and I am frustrated. Has anyone found a solution yet? Maybe if we install 8.5 again the bug might disappear who knows. The latest version of msn live is @#%%^$#@@$

If following the instructions listed above, the list that appears. Do any of you know if those people are the ones who've added me to their list since I got MSN or if it is a list of the people who have me added to their list now (hence not deleted or blocked me from their list)? I guess I'm asking if it's updated to be a list of who's got me on their list at the "asking" moment, or if it's just a history of all I've approved no matter if I'm still in their list now or not?
