Today at Linux Solutions in Paris, Process-one unveiled a new corporate instant messaging client called OneTeam. Because OneTeam is browser-based, it can be deployed without any installation and supports multiple operating systems.
OneTeam handles presence, instant messaging, file transfer and group chat. Based on the XMPP protocol, enterprises can secure internal messaging and still allow controlled connectivity with other XMPP servers, such as Google Talk.
Process-one has incorporated some innovative productivity features. For example, you can configure OneTeam to allow interruptions only from members of your project team.
