Campfire is a great, web-based, business group chat service. It’s superior to IM in many ways, but we thought it could be even better on a Mac! Introducing Pyro: Your Campfire chats in a dedicated application, with the number of unread messages on the Dock icon, in Growl and on the Campfire tab bar. Drag and drop file upload. Accelerated room switching. AppleScript support. Pyro for Mac OS X 10.4 does all that, and is completely free.

Pyro Features:

* You can now open multiple Campfire windows in Pyro.
* The Rooms menu has been revamped. There are now items and corresponding keyboard shortcuts for the next/previous room, and for the next room with unread messages.
* You can now click Growl notifications sent by Pyro to get to the appropriate room.
* Note that the multi-window support has changed the AppleScript commands with an optional "in campfire" specifier.
* Note also that the multi-window support is not intended for opening multiple windows to the same Campfire account.
