"Skype will any day now unveil a new pricing model for Australian users called Skype Pro, offering an unlimited number of 6c calls to Australian landlines for a monthly fee of $3.20.

The Skype Pro package will also include a service called Skype To Go, whereby customers can call an international number while paying local rates.

Previously, Australian users were required to purchase Skype Credits and were charged around 2.7 cents a minute for national landline calls. This will still be offered as an alternative to the Skype Pro package, while calls to mobiles will continue to be paid for using Skype Credits."
