Psi Messenger
Adam Pash from Lifehacker wrote a nice tutorial about chatting AIM, MSN, Yahoo buddies over Google Talk. Download the free, multi-protocol Jabber client Psi and read this great guide:

"When it was first introduced, Google Talk had a lot of stiff competition in the instant messaging realm.
