SweetIM, a free downloadable tool, intended to enhance IM conversation through entertaining and self-expressive emoticons and flash-based animations, is now accessible to users of AOL Instant Messenger.

SweetIM offers consumers safe ways to easily express themselves and creatively entertain others beyond words through e-mail, instant messaging and online social networks. Once downloaded, flash-based content such as emoticons, winks, sound FX, nudges, audibles and pictures are available on the AIM chat toolbar. Users can choose from more than 1000 conversation enhancements, through drop down menus to send and share with friends, family and co-workers on their buddy list.

Please note that your buddies are only able to see SweetIM emoticons if they also have SweetIM installed.
