The Google Talk Chatback Badge allows your visitors to your chat with you live on your site.
It doesn't matter whether your visitors have a Google Talk account or not, they'll be able to chat with you whenever you're signed in to your Google Talk account.
The Google Talk Chatback badge on the your site will be automatically disabled if you set your GTalk status as "Busy". And you chat with more than one person at the same time as each session will open in a separate tab.

I couldn't receive messages on my blackberry GoogleTalk client when messages were initiated from the Chatback
me too.
i bought a blackberry only because of that....
google... whats happening here?
Same here.. I don't receive messages in GTalk on my Blackberry. I hope Google fixes it. Nice application otherwise.
I was able to find a workable solution to this issue.
If you use the AIM wimzi (wimzi.aim.com) on your website(which is just like Google Chatback) you can then use your blackberry to instantly talk with people on your site.
What you have to do is install the Wimzi on your site, then install AIM on your blackberry. You then have to be signed into AIM from your blackberry and from a computer(at the same time). Meaning, you will have to leave AIM signed on from a computer for it to work, but it will work, when a user sends a message on the wimzi it will go to your computer and to your blackberry and you can then respond.
It is not ideal, but it does work and it is free.
