Gmail Chat now supports inline, embedded videos from YouTube and Google Video. So if you are chatting with a friend through Gmail Chat, you can watch YouTube videos right inside chat window.
To use it, just paste the URL of the video into your web-based chat box and hit Enter. The video will automatically appear in a small embedded popup. When someone sends you a YouTube link, you'll now get a thumbnail preview of the video. Click play and another box will open up inside of Gmail that streams it.
