Show Your Location on Google Talk and Gmail ChatGoogle Latitude is a service that lets you see where your friends are on a map in real time. Now there is a new feature that allows you to automatically share your location with your Google Talk buddies.

You can opt in to have your status message automatically display your current city, so that all your Google Talk and Gmail chat contacts can see where you are. If you don't already use Latitude, check it out and then enable Google Talk location status (beta).

You can always disable it by changing or clearing your status message. To turn it back on, just change your status to "loc:on" and it will resume displaying your current city within 30 seconds.
