MC2 Multicast Chat is a chat software written in java.

Unlike the most chat systems (e.g. IRC) it doesn't need a server that delivers messages. MC2 works in a peer to peer (P2P) way.

It has been specifically developed to allow chat in a LAN using multicast UPD datagrams.
