"Windows Live Messenger users have been requesting tabbed conversations as a feature in the application for years, but Microsoft has failed to deliver, leading to some frustration among beta testers and many users opting to use add-ons like Messenger Plus! Live or other third-party clients that support the .NET Messenger Service. Microsoft really needs to step up to the plate, especially if it wants to make sure it keeps the status of owning the most popular instant messenger service in the world.
