TalkMyPhone is an open source application that enables you to control your Android device from Google Talk. It's very similar to Android-notifier, TalkMyPhone does not need WiFi or Bluetooth enabled. It can be useful for those who prefer typing sms on a real keyboard.

TalkMyPhone opens a GTalk conversation with you and forward you the incoming SMS, notify you of incoming calls and your battery state. Additionally, using simple commands, you can reply to incoming SMS, send new SMS and read the last 5 SMS from a contact. Other useful commands include making the phone ring for example if you want to find it by sound, geolocalise the phone so you can find it on googlemaps, copy text to the keyboard and open any url.
